My name is Sierra Messenger. I have lived in Lebanon for most of my life, and I am always trying to find new ways to give back to the community that aided in my development. When I learned of an open seat on the City Council, I knew this could be my path. The city of Lebanon has so much potential, and I love seeing it grow! I am proud to call it my home.

I have served on the City Council for the last four years and have thoroughly enjoyed seeing our City flourish during that time. I currently work as a Computed Tomography technologist and hold credentials in radiography, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging (from IUPUI). I also have my Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Indiana and am eager to contimplementing my skills. Our city needs representation from all types of individuals, and I would love to continue to bring my perspective to our city.

Working in healthcare has allowed me to develop the required skill of attention to detail. Operating in an acute setting has instilled talents like handling pressure and being able to learn during times of distress. After being appointed to the Redevelopment Commission, I have expanded on these vital skills that cross over from the healthcare setting to the business setting. Applying my organizational skills and data analysis could aid in the issues faced by the Council.

As I stated above, I currently live in Lebanon with my husband, Sam Messenger, and two beautiful daughters. We look forward to raising our family in this fantastic place we call home.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

Sierra Messenger
